Your spotlight on local services

Would you like to hold an event or activity for your local group or community?

We are offering funding to local organisations, groups and individuals to run fun and engaging one-off activities or events to engage local people in the NHS. You could bid for a maximum of £750 per event although applications for smaller grants are strongly encouraged so we can reach as many people as possible with this money!

If you've got an idea for activities or events that would be enjoyable to local people and provide an opportunity for them to engage with the local NHS get in touch and apply now. You know what activities are best to reach your community group and we want to fund you to make them happen. Be as creative as you like! Examples of activities could include:

  • a dinner dance for older people with dementia,

  • a roller disco for children and young people,

  • pizza and movie afternoons

  • cultural events

People from the local NHS will attend these events to talk and listen to local people about their experience of local health issues. The feedback gained will help to ensure patient voices are at the heart of service change.
