Joint Task Group Meeting
Healthwatch Kingston is now holding a Joint Task Group Meeting every 8 weeks, held at Kingston Quaker Centre. This new format will take place from April 2018 and brings together our three Task Groups into one space, which covers:
- Hospital Services - looks at services at Kingston Hospital. Upcoming projects may include a look at A&E and gathering feedback on patient's discharge experiences
- Mental Health - a look at Mental Health Services in the borough. Upcoming projects include an Enter & View visit to Tolworth Hospital and a review of the i-Cope service
- Community Care - looks at the services for those with care needs. Previous projects include an engagement project gathering the views of people who use Home Care in Kingston. Upcoming projects may include a look at the impact of Social Prescribing.
The meetings will include a lunch and feature a different speaker for each meeting around current Health and Social care matters in the borough. The meetings are where our Task Group Members work on Healthwatch Kingston's projects. Look at our reports section and Twitter page to learn more about our latest work, and read more about volunteering with us.
At Healthwatch Kingston we are keen to involve as many community members as we can in our discussions so that people are always at the heart of the work we do. We want to hear about the issues that are important to YOU and your community. We welcome you to attend - please come along or contact us to find out more or if you have any special requirements.
