Joint Task Group Meeting
Healthwatch Kingston is now holding a Joint Task Group Meeting every 8 weeks, held at Kingston Quaker Centre. This new format brings together our three Task Groups into one space, which covers:
- Hospital Services - the upcoming project led by this group will be a discharge project in which experiences of people who have stayed in Kingston Hospital will be gathered.
- Mental Health – the upcoming projects for this group is a review of the i-Cope service (local IAPT service for people with low to mid-level mental health concerns)
- Community Care - the upcoming project will be around aiding in the design and user experiences of the Social Prescribing scheme being introduced in the borough.
The meetings will include a lunch and feature a different speaker for each meeting around current Health and Social care matters in the borough. The meetings are where our Task Group Members work on Healthwatch Kingston's projects, and also discuss other emergent issues around health and social care in the borough. We decided to bring our three task groups together to enrich the conversation and have more of our members involved in all three projects.
At Healthwatch Kingston we are keen to involve as many community members as we can in our discussions so that people are always at the heart of the work we do. We want to hear about the issues that are important to YOU and your community. We welcome you to attend - please come along or contact us to find out more or if you have any special requirements.Look at our reports section and Twitter page to learn more about our latest work, and read more about volunteering with us.
