Your chance to input into plans to improve mental wellbeing and mental health services

About this event

We invite Kingston residents, carers, advocates and people who have experience of mental health services to come along to a workshop to share your views.

The meeting will be divided into two parts with the following items on the agenda:

12pm - 1pm: LUNCH (light lunch served)

1pm - 2.15pm: Liz Trayhorn from Kingston's Public Health Team will invite you to contribute to Kingston's Better Mental Health Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) and help us develop mental health friendly communities (as promised by Thrive Kingston).

2.15pm - 2.30pm: TEA AND COFFEE BREAK

2.30pm - 4pm: Darren Fernandes from South West London and St George's Mental Health Trust will be giving an introduction to The Mental Health Transformation Programme (MHTP) which outlines ambitious aims to improve services including reviewing transitions between CAMHS, adult services and older adult services across South West London.

We will be asking for your input and experiences of access to services, treatment and discharge.
