About this event

Apologies for the short notice, but due to a number of last minute cancellations, we are rescheduling this meeting.

Details for reschedule training date here.

We are offering training to existing and new volunteers on how to conduct an Enter & View visit.

Healthwatch Kingston is the local community champion for NHS and social care in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames. We listen to people's experiences and share these with those that run services to help make them better for people who need them.

Local Healthwatch has a legal power to visit health and social care services and see them in action. This power to Enter & View NHS and social care services offers a way for Healthwatch to meet some of our statutory functions and allows us to identify what is working well with services and where they could be improved.

The purpose of an Enter & View visit is to collect evidence of what works well and what could be improved to make people’s experiences better. Healthwatch can use this evidence to make recommendations and inform changes both for individual services as well as health and care system-wide.
