Kingston Carers’ Strategy -

Kingston’s Carers Strategy is being refreshed to make sure its able to support the needs of Kingston's carers.

Carer

The strategy will be created by the council in partnership with carers, Kingston Carers’ Network and South West London CCG. It will set out the borough’s 3 year plan for supporting carers, including young carers and young adult carers. (Carers, in this context, are unpaid carers, some of whom may prefer to regard themselves as family, friends or neighbours.)

The aim is to make sure the voices of carers in Kingston are at the centre of how services and support are planned in the future.

To help shape the new policy, the partnership would like to ask you some questions and hear about your experiences about how things are now, and how they could be improved.

This information will be used to make sure the action plans for the next 3 years focus on what is most important to carers of all ages in Kingston.

They would also like to know how to provide adult respite services in the future; how we can best support the person, their unpaid carer or family member.

This questionnaire is anonymous unless you want to tell us who you are. The survey will be available until 30 September 2021.
