We're still here for you
While the Healthwatch network faces changes in the future, we are still here, open and working for local people.

Earlier this week, the Government published the Dash review, which recommends:
- Transferring the functions of Healthwatch England to the Department of Health, and
- Transferring the functions of local Healthwatch into Integrated Care Boards and local authorities.
The Government has said that it accepts this recommendation and will pass legislation to enable it when time allows.
This means that, until legislation is passed, Healthwatch services will continue to be available, and we will keep championing the voices of local people.
What does this mean right now?
A lot needs to happen before anything will change for Healthwatch. The Government needs to outline how this will happen and change the law.
This means that we are still here, open, and working for local people.
We continue to:
- Listen to your experiences of health and social care.
- Share what we hear with those in power to help improve services.
- Provide advice and information to help you find the support you need.
