Have your say: experiences with the NHS app

Take 10 minutes to share your views and help us to understand if the NHS app is a helpful tool for local people.
A collage photo of hand holding a phone showing the NHS app. Text reads 'Have your say: experiences with the NHS app. Take 10 minutes to share your views and help us understand your experiences with the NHS app.'

The NHS app is designed to give people a simple and secure way to access a range of NHS services on their smartphone or tablet or device. The same service is also available in a web browser on the NHS website.

We believe that information about your health and the local services available to you should be accessible, straightforward and easy to understand.

Have your Say

Taking 10 minutes to complete our short survey will help us to make sure that the people who design the NHS app are aware of your experiences and needs.

Tell us if you do or don't use the NHS app, what you use it for, if you use an alternative or if you would prefer to be contacted about your health and care needs another way.

Including Digitally Excluded Communities

Our Including Communities and Including Digitally Excluded Communities work has highlighted the need for meaningful engagement and involvement with different communities across Kingston.

During this work we learned about a range of issues and barriers. These included:

  • It’s not always about money
  • A lack of trust in sharing information online
  • Language barriers
  • A lack of digital skills
  • Personal preference to not use digital services
  • Unsure it will make any difference
  • Inaccessible formats for people with physical disabilities and long-term conditions
  • Long surveys and other online forms.

Protect and strengthen independent services that give the public a voice

We think trusted independent services that listen to local communities are essential to improving health and social care. We listen without fear or favour and reach those whose voices are often ignored.

Help us to protect and strengthen independence by signing and sharing the petition asking the government to review its decision to abolish local Healthwatch.
