The Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames, Healthwatch Kingston upon Thames and Mind in Kingston have today released a joint statement about the future of Time to Change Kingston.
Healthwatch Kingston acknowledges the extreme pressure NHS and social care services are facing during 'Lockdown 3'. We continue to be interested in what local people think about the care they are provided during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
This testing is for anyone who works directly with/supports adults and who doesn’t have coronavirus symptoms. This test is now also open to people living in supported living settings and people attending day services.
The NHS is currently very busy but urgent care is available if you need it. If you feel unwell but it is not an emergency please call your GP. You can also visit 111.nhs.uk online or call NHS 111.
Recent reports have shown there has been a significant rise in the rates of Coronavirus infection within hospitals. Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust responded quickly to Healthwatch Kingston about people’s concerns.
Time to Change is a social movement aiming to change the way people think and act about mental health. Healthwatch Kingston joins the many organisations across the country who have pledged to tackle mental health stigma within their work places.
