Healthwatch Kingston presented at Kingston Safeguarding Adults Board Annual Development Day

Every Safeguarding Adults Board (SAB) has a statutory duty to produce a plan of their key safeguarding priorities/areas of focus. 

The development day gave all members of the KSAB, including representatives from Adult Social Care, NHS, Met Police, London Fire Brigade and Healthwatch Kingston an opportunity to agree the KSAB work plan by evaluating the previous 12 months' activity and looking forward to the coming year. 

Healthwatch Kingston and all other members of the KSAB want people with lived experience of safeguarding to be involved in Kingston’s safeguarding work and are exploring ways to put their voices at the heart of governance.
