What is the Kingston Mental Health and Wellbeing Group?

Healthwatch Kingston facilitates the functioning of the Mental Health and Wellbeing Group, bringing together stakeholders from various sectors to address mental health service needs in Kingston upon Thames, alongside those with lived experiences of mental health conditions. 

The group has supported the development and implementation of key strategies and programs, including the Kingston Better Mental Health JSNA and Suicide Prevention Strategy.

What does the Kingston Mental Health and Wellbeing Group do?

During Kingston Mental Health and Wellbeing Group meetings we receive updates from stakeholders across sectors about the work they are doing to address mental health needs in the borough.

Independent Evaluation of the Kingston Community Mental Health Transformation Programme

This report presents insights from three surveys on mental health services in Kingston, conducted between June 2023 and March 2024. Commissioned by South West London and St George’s NHS Mental Health Trust, the findings will help shape future improvements and assess progress since the Trust’s mental health service transformation began in 2021.
